Yoga Treasure

Yoga Treasure

Supporting healing and growth.

Yoga Treasure is a “pop up shop” and the home of “the little bag of yoga”, with an eclectic collection of products drawn from the science, practice, history and culture of yoga. All our products seek to support yoga practitioners in devotion, healing and growth on this beautiful path. We will be at the British Wheel of Yoga Congress April 29th-1st May 2022,  at the
Jury’s Inn in Hinckley, LE10 3JA.
Come and find us!
We have found great joy in sourcing these treasures, and instruments and in doing so have forged relationships with local Indian families and fellow yogis.

We travel to India every year and it is our practice to source products from these families and the wonderful women’s community cooperatives that we have encountered.

The profits from our business are used to help to fund 3 local children through school in Mamallapuram and the amazing Arunachala Animal sanctuary in Tiruvannamalai.

Our Treasures

We have amassed an eclectic range of inspiring products, drawn from the science of yoga to aid practice, devotion, healing and growth.

We have found great joy in sourcing these treasures and we would welcome the opportunity to come to your event and share our passion.

Our Treasures include (amongst others):

The Little Bag of Yoga; Deities (statues and wall hangings); Mala beads; Incense; Burners; Objects for meditation and devotion, Meditation Shawls, Meditation stools; Neti pots; Scrolls and Journals; Banners and Flags; Candles; and a range of Healing Crystals and Dowsers.

Who We Are (in this lifetime anyway!)

Ananda (Frederica Jones) BWY dip FCT

I have been a yoga practitioner for many explorative years and a yoga teacher who  is still happily  learning for nearly 20years.

Inspiration for Yoga Treasure came from trying to source my own aids for classes, courses, workshops, retreats and of course my own practice.

While the idea simmered for a couple of years on the back burner – it was only after a conversation with my friend and fellow yogi – ahead of a trip to India in 2015, that the idea really began to see the light.
Cindy Carlton

Yoga practitioner and fellow pilgrim with Ananda for the past 15 years.

The concept of Yoga Treasure grabbed me immediately. In previous chapters of my life I had my own shop and I loved the sourcing and merchandising that came with running my business. Later I was a retail adviser to a number of charities and I am passionate about all things yoga!

So, we both love yoga …….. and shopping in India 🙂

Our aim is to keep our products simple, beautiful and useful. We now have quite a range that we take to Yoga festivals, wellbeing, and spiritual healing days.

The Little Bag of Yoga

Inspired by the love of yoga and in search of the perfect little gift for our own yogi buddies, Freddie came up with this “Little Bag of Yoga”. Each bag is hand stamped and made with love. Each little crystal is hand picked and smudged in sage and the sacred thread is blessed. Many an hour is spent compiling, laughing and chanting.

The Little Bag of Yoga contains...
  • An Om, the primordial sound of the universe.
  • The Gayatri Mantra, a universal prayer.
  • A Pearl for wisdom.
  • Sacred thread, tied together in the yoga community.
  • A Candle, to light the way.
  • A Match, should the light go out.
  • An Incense cone, to cleanse
  • 7 little crystals to balance the chakras.
  • A Bindi, to connect to your third eye
...and lots of love!
At £7.50 each, they take no account of the time spent bringing them into being!
